Voting is now open.

Recognized candidates for D-DAY clan commander are (in alphabetical order):
Dr_Mr_Bibbles
GhostTankSniper
raptorwill2000

Candidates should vote "I am a candidate". All other D-DAY & H-HOUR members are trusted to vote only once for their preferred candidate. The election closes Wednesday July 8th 2020, 24:00:00 EDT, where upon the results will become available.

Vote Here:

I think the voting should be cut down shorter due to how close clan wars is
I propose having a commander elected by this Saturday or Sunday. This would benefit the campaign coming up rather than waiting 2 weeks later when season is almost done (people will resume their regular daily lives and would lose interest in clan activities)
Some things need to be addressed during this campaign that is necessary to keep the clan running
On another side note a 2 week vote would not be necessary, the people that read the forums and are active currently around 30 members maybe less would probably cast their vote sooner than the 2 weeks.

I totally agree with Raptor, why make it 2 weeks if our clan has only 40 or 50 active people. And I bet most of the active guys already voted.

While I think raptor's idea is a good one, I feel it's too late to change the process. Changing it in the middle of the announced voting period could open the door to a lot of griping after the fact. Just my two cents.

We are holding this election to appease an XO(not Rubicite), the reason for the long wait was demanded by said XO so everyone would have enough time to vote. To that end, a poll on a website that hides the count until the 8th of July was created. If we cut the election short we would have to have everyone vote again.

So we go into a clan war before we settle on a commander. That's not right.

Is it possible to know how many people has voted yet? because that could be very interesting. I mean, of course it would be different if we have 30 votes casted than 80 votes casted, because if 30 people has voted, then I agree, elections should continue, but if we have 80 people in two clans that at most have 60 active people, then we know most of them have voted and voting will not change during the curse of another week.

LMAO Banana Republics have better elections. From the 3 choices I only see one that could keep D-DAY going.

Just pointing out, former members of D-Day shouldn't be voting. We are not part of D-Day anymore, so we don't really have the right to have a voice in D-Day's future. All three candidates have are running (I assume) because they want help D-Day carry on. I can only assume that they know what challenges are part of being clan commander and are willing to shoulder the burden.

FYI: RaptorWill2000 left the clan yesterday (26 June). Apparently he is removing himself from the election.

Thank for your observation Rubicite I indeed left the clan, we are starting this campaign without much interest from the officers in the clan. I have only seen Bibbles in ts so far and maybe 1 other officer.
Repeatedly many players pointed out in TS and in the forums that there should be a commander already elected before campaign.
I also left hoping that there can be a new poll started with only Bibbles and Ghost in it.
Ghost mentioned that there would have to be a new poll started to make the election get cut a little shorter.
And even though I may not be in this clan I hope Bibbles wins the election
